Estimate your first year
If your audience converts like dedicated chess players, up to $4,000
How we estimate this
From our own videos: about 2–3.4 in every 10,000 viewers start a free week when KTK is mentioned out loud, and 30–50% of them become paying members. Half choose yearly. A member earns you about $13 in your first year on average. The higher line assumes your viewers convert up to three times better, which we haven't measured yet. This is an estimate, not a promise, and you keep earning after year one.

Things creators ask us.
Something else? Write to [email protected] and a person will answer.
What do you need from me?
A Google sign-in and your channel link. We ask for payout details only once you've earned something.
Do I need a certain number of subscribers?
No. Any chess channel on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok or Instagram can apply, and small channels often have the most loyal viewers.
Do I have to stop working with Chess.com or my sponsors?
No. There's no exclusivity and no contract. Keep everything you already have.
What exactly do I have to say?
Whatever feels right, like inviting viewers to find out which legend they play like. Say that it's a paid link: most countries require it, and it's fair to your viewers.
When does the first money arrive?
Viewers get a free week first, then each payment is held 30 days in case of a refund. We pay monthly once you've earned $50, and anything under that rolls over to the next month.
What does "for life" mean?
You earn 30% of every payment a member you brought makes, for as long as they stay. If they cancel and come back a year later, they're still yours.
Can I use my own code to get the discount?
Please don't. Codes are for your viewers, and they can't go on coupon sites or in paid ads on the King Takes King name.
Is KTK any good, honestly?
Try it before you tell anyone about it. Your membership is free, and the scan takes two minutes.
